Mary Garnett

Mary's journey in fitness began when she wanted to make a change in her own life. After sudden weight loss, she was too thin and wanted to obtain a healthier, stronger body. As she became involved in a regular conditioning program, she gained weight and strength. In fact, she felt healthier from head to toe. She discovered that conditioning her body provided her with a natural high and lasting stress relief. As she continued to improve, Mary was inspired to keep progressing.

Continuing with her passion, Mary began to assist other trainers. She witnessed clients' positive reactions, and became inspired to make a real difference in people's lives. Since that time, her focus has been clear: helping individuals reach their personal goals. She has done this through private and group classes, in which she teaches a combination of core exercise and strength training. She especially enjoys personalizing instruction and working with women who want to see real change in their lives. She works with all levels and ages.

Mary is a and mother of two boys who play ice hockey for the Westchester Vipers. Prior to her dedication to physical and personal training, she worked for a gourmet food distributor in sales and marketing for eight years. Mary is certified by the International Fitness Association(IFA) and by the Red Cross for CPR.

On May 8, 2010 Mary broke AAU(Amateur Athletic Union) State and National Records for her weight class(105lbs) by deadlifting 205lbs. Her best deadlift was on November 8, 2010 with a record 245lbs in the 105lb weight class
